CORONATION Street caf owner Roy Cropper brought his catering expertise to Warrington this week when he opened Ikea's new restaurant.
The bumbling soap star, famed for his droopy cardigans and pull-along shopping trolley, welcomed shoppers with Bucks Fizz and cake.
David Neilson, who plays the character in the top soap, said: "I am very impressed with the new restaurant - it's almost as good as Roy's Rolls!"
The restaurant improvements took eight months and £1 million to complete.
