I MUST express the feelings of disgust which I and other people felt after visiting the temporary Council Tax office on April 23.

After being directed to three different buildings, my husband and I finally ended up at Hilden House. On entering we were the last of about nine people waiting for Council Tax enquiries.

There was just one position opened, and each enquiry took at least 15 minutes to process. There was no ticket order given, so people had to remember who was in front of them.

During the time we were waiting, which was approximately two hours, people were pouring into the building, all looking bewildered at what was happening.

We finally left Hilden House just after 11am, leaving at least 30 people some with small children to be attended to.

I would like to remind the borough council that its members were elected to their privileged positions by the people of Warrington.

How about a little service in return?
