IT'S been an unlucky week all round for Nantwich.
Last Wednesday the Dabbers crashed out of the Cheshire Senior Cup, losing 3-1 to Stockport.
The match was hard fought and remained a close call at 2-1 until five minutes from the end.
It was back to league matters on Saturday, but Nantwich crashed again, 4-0 at home to Mossley.
Despite two closely fought halves the dabbers conceded two goals in each but co-Manager Lestor Norbury took some positives.
"We played quite well and had a couple of great chances in the first half that we did not take and we got punished."
Mossley scored on 25 and 35 minutes and then again on 70 before rounding off the win five minutes from time.
Speaking about the cup match Mr Norbury added: "I think they deserved to edge it but it was a good performance and it could have gone either way at the end."
Nantwich were away at St Helens last night and on Saturday the team travels to Curzon Ashton for a 3pm kick off.
