THE seventies are back and for a week Stoke's Regent Theatre is to be gripped by boogie fever.
So fluff those afros, grab your platforms and polish your medallions because the smash hit musical, Boogie Nights, is back and better than ever.
Starring Sam Kane (Brookside, Coronation Street and Night Fever) and Sophie Lawrence (Eastenders), Boogie Nights is a monster celebration of everything seventies and takes the audience on a roller coaster ride of life through the eyes of the loveable, but unreliable, Roddy.
The show features all the hits of the glitter-ball decade and these are used to tell the story of wannabe rock star Roddy and his girlfriend Debs.
Glam
Hits include YMCA, Celebration, I Will Survive, Boogie Wonderland and Play that Funky Music and this rip roaring spectacle of glam and disco is sure to have the audience dancing in the aisles.
Boogie Nights starts at the Regent on September 9 and runs until September 14, with shows at 8pm Monday to Thursday and 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday and Saturday.
Tickets ranging from £8 to £19.50 are available by ringing the Box Office on 01782 213800.
