rejects
proposals
A LYMM resident saw his bid to build a detached home for his elderly parents refused by planning bosses last week.
The borough council ruled that the modest-sized house would have resulted in undesirable over-development and would have brought a loss of privacy and been oppressive to neighbours in Rushgreen Road.
Mr Wealthall, the applicant, said: "I have received no objections from neighbours or the parish council. I have worked hard to ensure that the amenity space is within the designated requirements."
But one objector argued that Lymm is becoming saturated with new housing and that approving this plan would set an unwelcome precedent.
