PROMISING indie upstarts Star Bodixa have completed recording their debut album, And They Danced On Glass at Liverpool's 'Hug' recording studio.
The studio belongs to scouse Britpop has-beens Space, who had memorable hits with Female Of The Species and Neighbourhood.
Star Bodixa also worked with Space's producer Rob Ferrier on their project in order to provide a professional sheen to the fledgling material.
The Leeds-based five-piece cite their influences as REM, Elbow and Coldplay and have built a strong reputation in Yorkshire, largely down to an impressive work ethic and obvious quality of their crafted, thought-provoking ballads.
The album is available from Monday and is released on the label Energy Records Ltd.
