WARRINGTON Wolves head coach Paul Cullen was highly impressed with the start to the season made by Australian back row forward Darren Burns.
He scored Warrington's only try against Bradford Bulls in the Powergen Challenge Cup fourth round tie at Wilderspool, bumping off Bradford's best defender Daniel Gartner in the process.
Cullen said: "The go-forward and the energy from Darren Burns in that game hopefully sets the standard that we need to follow all season.
"The big break he made where he pushed aside Joe Vagana - a 20 stones prop forward - took some doing!"
