Mr John Francis (Frank) Donnelly, husband of Mrs Lilian Donnelly, died on January 7, aged 78.
Mr Donnelly, of Great Sankey, was born in Armagh, Northern Ireland, and had lived in England since 1945.
He was last employed as a glazier for T A Anders, of Salford.
Mr Donnelly enjoyed socialising, particularly in the Sloop pub, where he played dominoes, and annual visits to Ireland after his retirement. He was a regular worshipper at Sacred Heart RC Church.
He leaves his wife, four daughters, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two sisters and a brother.
A service was held on January 17 at Sacred Heart RC Church, prior to interment at Burtonwood Cemetery. The Rev Father Chris Cunningham officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
