AN experimental Moore side rose to the challenge against Warrington's second string in a high-tempo friendly played in good spirit.
With Moore having a break from their league campaign, they took the opportunity to blood a few youngsters and they all performed well.
Moore's star players were No.8 John Ferguson and scrum half Peter Allen.
Their try scorers were Vinny Reardon, Geoff Wilson, Tony Hallsworth, John Ferguson, two and Max Ferguson. Mike Tobin knocked over two conversions and a penalty goal.
An aggressive Moore Seconds side overcame a young Warrington Thirds outfit 36-22.
Their try scorers were J. Butler, C. Senior, player of the match Tony Gallagher, L. Kay, D. Dean and P. Brown, who was on target with three conversions.
Warrington's tries were scored by T. Wray, J. Nash, J. Ward and J. Wright, who also scored two conversions.
