WOULD-BE teacher Rosie Marshall is playing a lead role in a show raising funds for her trip of a lifetime.
Rosie, 18, of Cavendish Crescent, Alsager, is a sixth former at Alsager School.
She is due to fly out to the Dominican Republic in Central America in August to work for 12 months as a teacher.
Rosie plays the principal boy in a production of Mother Goose being staged to raise funds.
The show takes place at Wesley Place Methodist Church in Alsager on March 7 and 8 at 7.30pm.
The show tells the story of a hard-hearted landlord, a poor widow with an idle son and goose to support, and includes an alien.
