SOAP stars took part in a charity football match at the Halton Stadium on Sunday.
Actors from Hollyoaks and Brookside took on Barnet Solicitors to help raise money for Whizz Kids, a charity which raises funds to buy electronic wheelchairs for children.
Stars such as Nick Prichard who plays Tony in Hollyoaks and Philip Oliver who played Tinhead in Brookside formed the Merseyside Television team.
Neil Sargison, who organised the match, said: "I will be climbing Kilimanjaro in January to raise money for Whizz Kids and I have to raise the money to fund the challenge.
Merseyside Television kindly agreed to the charity match to help with my fundraising."
