THE short trip to Eccles resulted in a convincing win for Wids.
Eccles scored first but Wids responded when Smith crossed for his first of a hat trick. Phillips converted.
The Wids pack played a great driving game at one point pushing the home side a good 40 yards uphill.
It was a great team performance that drew applause from both sets of spectators.

ONCE again the Wids pack with captain Phillips, Stewart, Morris, Price and Buckle were excellent losing just one of their own scrums and winning at least 50 per cent against the head.
Wids won via a fantastic run from Thompson from his own half, with Phillips adding the extras again.
