OK, out on a limb here: Eddie Izzard is the greatest living comedian in the world.
I am a big fan of Billy Connolly and there are a few other ageing geniuses like Robin Williams and young stars like Peter Kay out there, but nobody can touch Eddie.
The action transvestite himself is currently travelling the country on his SEXiE tour and has sold out everywhere.
Miraculously the MEN Arena has managed to dig up some extra tickets - but those will no doubt have sold out by the time you read this.
There are no jokes: just long, rambling, nonsensical stories that hit the right note with an audience brought up on Spike Milligan and the Big Yin.
