As the Star celebrates its 30th birthday, here's a memory-jerker from the early eighties, featuring a group of our readers 'invading' Altea on the Costa Blanca.
Among them, two of the then Star staff, Paula Comerford and Marlene Johnson (standing left and right, respectively, on either side of the banner).
But how many of the rest of those happy trippers are recognised two decades on? The picture was sent by Star founder, Malcolm Smith, now in 'active retirement' in Spain.
