A FOOTBALL fan from Hebden Green School in Winsford, realised his dreams when he got to meet Manchester United stars at a training day.
Adam Vout, 14, was invited to watch the squad train at its state-of-the-art Carrington complex and then have a guided tour of Old Trafford.
He said: "I've been a Manchester United fan since I can remember and this is just amazing."
Adam, who is confined to a wheelchair, was part of a group of youngsters who met stars such as Portuguese wonder-kid Cristiano Ronaldo and Darren Fletcher, grabbing prized autographs and photographs.
His mum Susan Lynskey, 44, said: "Adam was overjoyed when he was invited by United and it has been a fantastic boost for him. The club and the players were great and Adam had an incredible day."
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "It is fantastic to see the children, especially their happy smiling faces.
"I hope they enjoyed the day as much as the team enjoyed meeting them. They are truly an inspiration to others."
