IT was lucky number seven for talented teenager Tom Cavanagh, as he boxed his way to a seventh win in a row, against a more experienced opponent.
Fourteen-year-old Tom, of The Bankfield school, Widnes, is one of a trio of local lads who box for Runcorn Boys Club.
He beat Lee Timpson of Wythenshaw East ABC on points after three rounds to extend his proud record.
Coach John Lalley, said: "Tom used his aggression and natural ability well against an opponent with much more experience.
"He boxed superbly and I am very pleased with the way things are going for him. He deserves this record after all the training he does".
