AFTER dominating most of the first half Mond fell behind on 35 minutes when man of the match John White put New Brighton in front.
Mond responded but two tremendous saves from Banks in the New Brighton goal kept his side in front.
The same pattern emerged after the break but New Brighton were resolute in their defending.
Danny Kay had come more in the game for Mond and his effort across the keeper also beat the post.
As Mond become more desperate for the equaliser New Brighton were also carving out more chances and Percival in the Mond goal kept them in the game with a series of good saves with 10 minutes left.
New Brighton got their decisive second from a long ball down the centre, which Paul Edge managed, to head past the keeper.
Man of the match for Mond was Jackson.
