NORTHWICH Town Council has moved from the council house to a new site across the road.
And the public is invited to an open day at the new offices on Friday, April 30, to gain an insight into what the town council does.
The council has been in the old building since the mid 1950s.
When Muir Housing bought the council house, last year, the town council decided to relocate to the old cemetery lodge and have it refurbished.
The new building includes offices for the three staff, a cemetery registrar's office, a small meeting room, reception area, kitchen and storage.
The open day takes place from 1pm to 4pm when the mayor, councillors and staff will show the public around and answer any questions.
Northwich Town Mayor, Clr Mandy Griffiths will officially open the new offices.
The new address for the town council is the Council Offices, 78 Church Road, Northwich, CW9 5PB.
