IT'S un, deux, trois go for Lowton youngsters who have taken up after-school French lessons.
Last term the school ran six sessions for six to eight year olds, which proved so popular they may be re-run for that age group and were launched for the eight to 11-year-olds on Tuesday, April 20.
Michelle Silcock, head teacher, said: "We've been given funding from Wigan Council to run after-school clubs and have done some sport ones but also wanted to give the pupils a chance to do something really different.
"We asked parents what they thought about us running a French club and got a really good response."
Youngsters will learn French songs before moving on to basic conversation.
Michelle said: "When they've finished the course they'll be able to jet off to France on holiday and get by."
