EXCITING! That's how enthusiasts describe the thrill of riding a Lambretta or Vespa.
Around 400 scooters are expected to attend a family fun day, from noon to 5pm, on Sunday, April 25 at the Eight Towers pub in Weates Close.
The event is being organised by Widnes Dynotone Scooter Club and Lancashire Alliance, scooter clubs throughout the north west.
Founder member Tommy Dennett, said: "We only started the club a year ago and it's really taken off.
"Riding a scooter is brilliant. It's really exciting and thrilling."
A barbecue, giant human table football game, competitions and a disco are just some of the attractions.
The Dynotones have taken part in various conventions and events. They joined 7,500 scooter enthusiasts from all over Europe on the Isle of Wight last year. The club meets at the Eight Towers at 8pm every Thursday.
