In answer to what needs to be done with the Parr Hall, my simple solution, I know shared by many, is to knock it down and start again.
It is a total waste of time and money, as it is not a theatre and never will be, no matter how much you do with it.
The Warrington Guardian ran a campaign some time ago for retaining the Palace Theatre, which I remember well, and reading many of the comments made at the time, Warrington deserves a proper theatre.
A town this size should be ashamed of itself not to have a stage that so much home grown talent can perform on.
We have many local companies and, of course, our Gang Show.
The Parr Hall is not the right venue and the Pyramid is not a consolation prize either.
So come on Warrington Guardian, you can do it if you really tried together with the Council. Please listen to what is said.
