A MUCH improved performance by Warrington Wolves under 18s Academy team gave them a grading phase victory on Saturday.
Wolves scored eight tries, with only two conversions, and never looked in danger of losing the game although their 10-0 lead was clawed back early on.
Craig Ashall and then Kyle Neale went over for a try each within eight minutes but Warrington conceded a string of penalties and London went 12-10 ahead. By half-time it was 12-20 as Mike Cadd, making his debut, came off the bench to score two tries.
An unconverted London try opened the second half but Warrington dominated the remainder of the game and tries were added by Danny Aboushakra, Ashall, Craig Cornelia and David Yii.

Wolves play Hull FC at Wilderspool Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 2.30pm.
Meanwhile, Wolves under 21s lost 42-10 at Bradford on Thursday.
