BUS travellers in Thelwall are being prevented from using a shelter in the village - because it continues to be mysteriously doused in oil.
Clr Ted Lafferty said that even though the oil is cleaned up, it keeps on returning and stopping people from using the shelter on the corner of Thelwall New Road and Richmond Avenue.
He added: "We don't know who is causing it, it could be youngsters but it could be anyone.
"The problem is that nobody can use the seat because it is covered in oil."
Both Grappenhall and Thelwall have been affected by vandalism of bus shelters with glass panels shattered at various sites.
