PICKERING Arms pulled off the most impressive Grappenhall Darts League victory this week.

They beat GTL 5-3 thanks to fine throwing from the likes of T Sheen, 21 darts and D Lowe, 24.

GTL's best performers were J Dutton, 14, G Smith, 18 and C Stait, 22.

Stockton Heath Legion recovered from a 4-2 deficit to win at Crown.

H Murray fired in a 13-darter for Stockton Heath and Crown's top guns were R Norcott, 20, S Welsh, 20 and N Walker, 20.

ESMB lost to Golden Lion despite good individual performances from C Jesson, 19, R Salt, 21 and R Hadland, 25.

M Cooper, 13, S Tatlock, 21 and D Williams, 21, were the aces in the pack for Lion.

A Poole and A Cunningham won in 15 and 21 darts respectively as Warrington Town beat Lymm Legion. J Entwistle cracked in a 23-darter for Lymm.

GYCA cruised to victory over Ye Olde No3 thanks largely to the fine form of A Carman, 19, K Jones, 18 and R Hepper, 20.

Star won the last five games to beat Red Lion 6-3.

G Parr won in 20 darts for Lion and D Bramwood recorded a 25-darter for Star.
