GRANGE Cricket Club seek to start their season for a second time on Saturday.
They have joined the Cheshire Alliance League for the first time and both the first and second teams will play in Division Three.
The first team, captained by Mike Antwoon, travel to Mossley while the seconds, led by Matt Wilcock, play Glazebury at Grange Avenue, Latchford.
Grange's season should have started on Sunday at home to Stretton in a West Lancashire Sunday League cup tie but the action was washed out. The tie has been rescheduled for this Sunday.
The club signed several players over the winter and confidence is high. The first team will fancy their chances of building on two successive league titles by securing promotion at the first attempt.
