YOUNG Irish footballers helped to kick off the third annual Warrington Peace Festival Football Tournament.
Members of Greenisland Boys FC, from Belfast, played soccer, visited the Town Hall and enjoyed themselves at a social evening during their five days in town.
Ian Wells, secretary of Crosfields JFC, which hosted the event, said: "The Greenisland boys have similar philosophies as ourselves and are a really nice bunch of people.
"We always have a really good time."
The team, which stayed at the Peace Centre, played football against Crosfields JFC, Culcheth JFC, Matthiola JFC and Penketh JFC during the festival.
