Mr Ramon McGregor, husband of Mrs Carole McGregor, died of a heart attack on March 1. He was 69.
Mr McGregor, of Polperro Close, Penketh, was born in Liverpool and lived in Penketh for 37 years.
He was last employed at British Aluminium for 25 years, where he worked as a floor manager, and prior to this he worked on the railway for 12 years.
Mr McGregor saw national service with the Army, then spent many years in the TA.
Mr McGregor enjoyed gardening, photography and holidays abroad.
He leaves his wife, a daughter and two grandchildren.
A service was held on March 23 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation. The Rev Ron Percival officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
