HEARTLESS thieves sneaked into the garden of an old folks home and uprooted an ornate fountain, named 'Forever Young', leaving many residents devastated and upset.
Brigid Alexander, Matron at Shevington Court Care Centre in Prescot is appealing to any kind-hearted souls who may help get it back.
She suspected that it was stolen over Easter: "We first noticed that it was missing on Easter Sunday Morning," she said.
"It is obvious that these people knew what they were doing, because this was cemented into the ground. They have dismantled in it parts before taking it away.
"These people must have no conscience to do something like that."
