A GREAT result considering all the hard work in the winter from the volunteers.
Hard work has produced a vital injection of grant money of which we are eternally grateful and has enabled us to upgrade the facilities to the next level, giving the club a springboard for further improvements.
All the hard work as been shared by its members giving up their own time to bring back this great old club to its former glory.
The performance on Saturday in the cup is a big moral booster.
New boys Andy Maclaren (37) off 28 balls, Alex Wright 49 put ECC on track and fine bowling performances from the bowlers Paul Jay 5 for 30, Todd Presho 2 for 22 as Earlestown coasted to victory.
Next match away at Burscough in the cup, 2pm start.
