PUPILS at a primary school in Appleton Thorn were celebrating this week as the first bricks of a new extension were laid.
The Arley Road school is replacing old classrooms and mobiles with modern facilities that are expected to open in September.
The additional facilities include two new classrooms, toilets, a bigger staff room and a state-of-the-art IT suite.
Head teacher Jackie Stillings said: "It's great news for the school and will allow the school to expand and provide better facilities for learning."
