I AM writing to ask whoever gave the Arriva bus route 386 a contract? It is never on time and in lots of instances just doesn't turn up.
Today I went to the bus stop in Harpers Road opposite the Conservative Club, at 13.22 ready for the 13.30 bus into Warrington. It just did not arrive and so I walked round to Station Road, outside the doctor's surgery, where I waited until after 14.00 and that too didn't turn up. There is supposed to be a service every half hour so where were they? I did notice that the buses from Warrington to Leigh were on time, so how come the 13.30 and 14.00 hours buses didn't come at all? It is a waste of time ringing to complain, writing to the company gets no satisfaction.
This service is the worst one in the Warrington area. A couple of weeks ago one bus didn't turn up and when I asked the driver where the previous one was, he informed me there was no bus for him (as he was supposed to have driven it). Waiting for one hour is a regular occurrence and I feel quite strongly that it is time that the Arriva management gave some assurances that it will do something about this problem in future.
