THE countdown is underway for the big game - and the tickets have gone like hot cakes since the two finalists became known.

The game is taking place on Saturday 15 May at the magnificent Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

In keeping with tradition, this year's Powergen Challenge Cup competition has witnessed a number of thrilling encounters on the road to Cardiff, and the Final looks set to deliver even more hard-hitting rugby league action.
As beaten semi-finalists in last year's Powergen Challenge Cup, both sides now meet again in the competition for the first time since the 2002 Cup Final at Murrayfield, where Wigan emerged victorious after an epic 21-12 battle.
