OUTLINE plans to build 122 apartments on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Latchford have been provisionally approved by Warrington Borough Council.
The full planning application, by Peel Holdings, for the erection of the building near the railway on Thelwall Lane, is yet to be given to go-ahead.
Residents feel that the development, of up to five storeys, would be overbearing.
