ALFORD Hall B started the new Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association Monday League Section D season in style.

They recorded a 14-0 victory over Woolston A in front of a packed house.

The stars of the show were A Noon, 21-3 and A Elliott, 21-7.

King and Queen B defeated Crosfields 12-2 with Jim Lowe taking their sweep 21-6 while Pierpoints A's 11-4 win at Culcheth A included a 21-9 card from D Ocego.

Tetley B won 11-4 at GESM B. Their top players were F Bate, 21-9 and R Ashurst, 21-9.

A Simpkins took the sweep 21-7.

Section E team Tetley C also won 11-4. Their star performer against Eagle B was K Donoghue, 21-10.

Orford WM C defeated Brooklands B 11-3 with E Lee, 21-3 and T Birchall, 21-4, showing their class.

E Jeffrey, 21-4 and V Williams, 21-6, were the top winners as Hollins Park B beat Smithys 9-5.

D Robinson took the visitors' sweep 21-8.

Wins from M Norris, 21-6 and K Willcox, 21-8, helped Monk Sports B to a 9-6 win at Fiddlers Ferry.

St Albans won 14-1 at Pierpoints B. Their best winner in the section F clash was A Worrall, 21-4.

Rylands B prevailed 10-5 at Kings Club B with John Harris, 21-7 and D Watson, 21-8, leading the way.

Orford WM B recorded a 10-4 win against St Josephs. A Roberts was the sweep winner, registering a 21-6 card.

A Leah's 21-13 card helped Monk Sports C to a 10-5 victory at Red Lion B.

Woolston B overcame Red Lion C 9-5 in Section G.

K Sorton and C Maskell both won 21-5 and Tony Acton replied with a 21-2 card.

Grange C recorded a 9-5 victory over Irish Club A.

Dave Vance and P Forshaw shared the sweep with 21-7 cards.

Wins from F Thomason, 21-5 and S Peters, 21-12, helped Bulls Head A to a 9-5 success at the expense of Risley Prison Officers.

Irish Club B's 8-6 success over Burtonwood B included wins for W Vincent, 21-4 and R Lunt, 21-6.

GESM C recorded the best win in Section H, beating Culcheth B 12-2.

Orford WM A's 11-4 win at King and Queen C included McIndoes' 21-6 sweep winner.

G Lewis and J Davies shared the sweep with 21-6 cards.

Bank Quay B enjoyed a 9-6 win at Alford C. Their most impressive player was K Rothwell, 21-5.
