Alford Hall A kicked off the 2004 season with a 10-5 success at Farmers Arms A.

Wins by Ray Nevins, 21-2 and Carl Armitage, 21-6, helped St Oswalds A to an 8-6 victory over Tetley A.
Mark Ashurst produced the visitors' best performance, winning 21-3.
The two promoted sides clashed at Monk Sports A with the home team recording an 8-6 victory over Grange B.
Keith Smith took the home sweep with a 21-7 card and Karl Whitfield won 21-14 for the visitors.
In Section B, Brooklands A defeated league newcomers Pavilions 12-2.
Their best winners were A Price, 21-1 and Bernard Fox, 21-7, while P Burton's 21-11 card represented Pavilions' first success.
GESM A triumphed 10-5 at Monks Hall.
Frank Lawless and John Geraghty shared the sweep with 21-12 cards while Dennis Clarke took the home sweep 21-12.
R Williamson, 21-3 and W McKechnie, 21-7, were Eagle A's top winners in their 12-2 defeat of Red Lion A.
Burtonwood A made the best start in section C, defeating British Rail 11-3.
A Woods and A Abbott returned 21-11 cards for the A team.
Dave Carroll and P Pownall both won 21-6 as Post Office defeated Saracens Head 10-4.
C Carroll replied with a 21-12 card.
St Oswalds B prevailed 10-5 at Cadishead with Derek Newton taking their sweep 21-6.
John Watson took the home sweep with a 21-5 success.
Farmers Arms B won a tight contest at Richmonds. Ian Higgins' 21-9 card gave them the edge.
