STRETTON are having a decent start to the new season in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance.
The first team drew at Kingsley after the hosts posted a score of 165 runs for eight wickets.
Mark Critchley was pick of the bowlers with two wickets for 12 runs.
Wickets fell steadily throughout Stretton's reply. The exceptions were Ben Clissold, with an unbeaten 77, and Martin Wilson with 30.
Stretton's strong second string crushed Kingsley.
They knocked off the required 67 runs in 11 overs thanks to Andy Delaney, 35 not out and skipper Tim Mullins, 26 not out.
