DOROTHY Brogden has celebrated her 100th birthday at Green Park Nursing Home in Penketh.
Known to her friends as Dolly, she received telegrams from The Queen and MP Andrew Smith, Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, to mark her big day.
Dorothy, from Penketh, joined the 100 club on April 26, and celebrated with a buffet and a piece of birthday cake, and even had a little tipple of wine!
Asda representatives went along and gave Dorothy some flowers and presents to help her celebrate the special occasion.
