POLICE figures in Warrington show that vehicle crime has fallen by 10 per cent and domestic burglaries by three per cent.
The figures were announced at last week's police forum.
John Gartside, chairman of the forum, said: "It is particularly satisfying to be able to report on decreases in the level of vehicle crime and burglaries in the area and I hope that initiatives, such as Safer Homes, will continue this positive trend."
As reported in last week's Warrington Guardian, the forum also introduced Superintendent Julia Clayton, Warrington's new divisional commander.
Among the issues raised at the meeting on Tuesday night was the BBC documentary, The Secret Policeman, and the implications it had for Warrington.
