WARRINGTON'S ambulance service has this week unveiled plans to create a better service, but one of its biggest critics says that she will see whether the changes will cut waiting times.
Mersey Regional Ambulance Service, which covers Warrington, has received an additional £2.5 million from the Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in Cheshire and Merseyside - the organisations responsible for funding local ambulance provision.
But Warrington North MP Helen Jones says she will wait to see if the investment leads to better results.
