WHAT do you do when your local post box is so full of letters that there is no space for any more?
That was the problem facing residents of Great Sankey when they came to use the box outside the Butchers Arms pub on Lingley Road.
Not only was the box full to the brim, but it was also possible for passers-by to reach in and take mail out.
A resident from Pyecroft Road in Great Sankey said: "It has got worse and worse in recent weeks until I simply could not fit the mail in and it was not secure for people to use."
