Mr Tony Commins, husband of Mrs June Commins, died of prostate cancer on March 19. He was 69.
Mr Commins, of Norbreck Close, Great Sankey, was born in Coventry and had lived in Warrington for a number of years. He was last employed as a director of an upholstery company in Burscough.
Mr Commins enjoyed working in his garden, cooking and any type of joinery work. He loved the company of his grandchildren.
Mr Commins leaves his wife, two daughters, four grandchildren, two brothers and six sisters.
A service was held on March 22 at Sacred Heart RC Church, followed by interment at Fox Covert. The Rev Father Joe Bibby officiated.
