A NEW music group is up and running in Newton.
Called the music therapy group it meets weekly in Newton Community Centre to play for pleasure.
A spokesman said: "We are mainly a guitar-based group who play music for the sheer pleasure of it and keep in mind the aim of writing lyrics and melody.
"We're open to new members who love the feel and sound of music."
