TICKETS are now on sale for Daniel Bedingfield's gig at the Manchester Apollo in March next year.

He's not very confident is he?

Most big acts like to show how important they are by making tickets available just months before the concert: and then they watch in smugness as they sell out in days and, sometimes, hours.

That, however, is not for the modest Mr Bedingfield who is giving his fans plenty of time to book their seats and write it up in their diaries.

But Daniel, most people don't have diaries for next year yet, it's only May! We get them for Christmas!

Obviously the pop singer likes to be prepared and it gives him more time to write songs about the women in his life (which is apparently what he is inspired by).

Give him his due though, he did manage to write half of his debut album in his bedroom. The album, Got to Get Through This, was a massive success and landed him with a number one record in, If You're Not the One.

This, along with his appearances as singing coach on Fame Academy, show that he has come quite a long way for a 23-year-old.

And I think we can all be grateful for the fact that he has stopped rapping and is focusing on making the young girls cry.

Tickets for the gig cost £21.50. Call 0870 401 8000 or 0161 832 1111 to book.
