GOLBORNE under 12s junior Rugby League team produced their best display of the season to win the North West Counties Cup at Robin Park on Sunday.
Their win was a result of discipline and commitment in training sessions and it led to individual best performances from David Crossley, Jake Roylance, Sam Gittins, William Waterworth, Nathan Lowe and Jonathon Peters while the player of the match was captain Jack Hughes.
Golborne's response to going 4-0 down inside two minutes was superb with forward Kieran Bolger bursting half the length of the field.
Golborne's other try scorers were Jack, two, Jonathon and Alex Gerrard.
