EARLESTOWN Cricket Club continued their impressive start to the season with a convincing win against league newcomers Newburgh.
They amassed 154 runs after being put into bat first.
Allan and Lomas kicked the innings off with a quickfire partnership of 40 runs before Andy McClaren hit a quality 65 which included several sixes.
In reply Newburgh were dismissed for only 104.
All of Earlestown's bowlers chipped in with wickets but Alex Wright was the star of the show, claiming four victims.
Earlestown's second string also won at the weekend.
The young side recorded a convincing victory at New Victoria.
