WIDNES St Maries touch rugby is holding a weekend competition to prepare for the forthcoming England game.
It will be played in Jersey on July 10 when Widnes will be represented by Leanne Twig, Mina Patel and Piula Tu'iono.
The Widnes Taxis 5577 touch rugby cup will take place at Brentfields as a warm up over the weekend of June 26.
Men's and ladies competitions take place on Saturday with an 11am start with Sunday hosting the mixed events. Teams are welcome to enter at a cost of £50 per team with big cash prizes for the winners and all are welcome to enter if over 14 years of age.
This is the third year of the event and England will supply three teams and provide coaching and tactical talks over the weekend with the full England team training on the Sunday morning.
There will be no charge for spectators and sideshows and food and drink are available.
There will be a disco and karaoke at night for everyone.
