THE Residents Against the Plant (RAP) website is once again up and running with details of where people can send donations to the fighting fund we need to take on ScottishPower's wretched gas plant.

Over the past four years the Knutsford Guardian has greatly assisted our cause, simply by telling the balanced, un-biased truth. The Guardian's constant coverage of the gas plant saga has been, and remains, vital in the fight against this ill-considered and unwanted invasion of our county.
Many people have already contributed to our fighting fund.
We now look forward to compelling John Prescott and Patricia Hewitt to re-consider their hugely unpopular, and incomprehensible decision.
The fight goes on, undaunted and with enthusiasm. Let's kill the gas plant. Let's do it together.
