She was born in Wincham to the late Arthur and Mary Roughsedge, having two brothers, Leonard and Dennis, and two sisters, Gladys and Marjorie.
She was brought up in Wincham and attended Lostock School.
She married Henry Large in 1940 at Lostock Church and they settled in Wincham before moving to Davenham.
She was widowed in 1982.
Nancy worked as a shop assistant in Wincham and enjoyed the Over 60s Club, cycling, knitting and tapestry.
She leaves two sons, Peter and Chris, grandchildren Rosemary, David, Fiona and Stephen, great grandchildren Mark, Oliver and Sophie, brother Dennis and sister Marjorie.
The service at Lostock Parish Church was conducted by the Rev Harry Stratton and was followed by interment in the family grave at Lostock.
In addition to floral tributes, donations were received for the Macmillan Nurses and the National Osteoporosis Society.
