MOORFIELD finished their season on a high with this hard fought victory.
In wet conditions both sides tackled superbly with top tackler Ben Salter leading the way for Moorfield.
It was Ben Salter who scored the only try of the first half when he broke several tackles to force his way over early on.
Defences then dominated for the rest of the half.
Not much changed in the second half with Moorfield withstanding some early pressure before working their way up field where Karl Glover, who was voted opposition man of the match, powered his way over from close range to give Moorfield an 8-0 lead.
West Bank scored a consolation try with the last move of the game to complete the scoring.
Greg Bloomfield was voted man of the match for Moorfield for a fine all round display with some strong running and superb one-on-one tackles.
He was well supported by Ryan Condron, Daniel Langford, Kieran Maher, Matthew Barrow, Kieran Fenlon, Jack Salter and Ryan Dyas.
