TOP of the table clash between the two rivals made for a highly competitive game with a nail biting finish.

Illness meant there were some changes to the team line up but nothing could shake the determined Halton side.

A GREAT game with an easy win for the Halton second team.

Some great passing and excellent team play gave the team an early lead and Birchwood struggled to catch up.

Squad members were Jayne Hughes, Carla Lawrenson, Sammy Vranch, Lisa Strong, Debbie Fairclough, Jenny Strong and Becky Ireland.

ANOTHER disappointing defeat for the third team.

Significant changes to the line up has led to some problems as players are getting used to each other and despite a great effort the squad were unable to pull it together.

Squad members were Gemma Larkin, Leanne Parr, Sue Bennet, Louise Drake, Lauren Maguire, Pam Collins and Nancy Morris.
